Are you Bloated? Find out why

February 14, 2019

Bloating. It's one of the most common reasons we see and treat people in our clinic every day. We've all experienced it at some time in our life, it's that uncomfortable feeling you get when the pants you put on in the morning no longer feel like they fit. Or that feeling of being heavy and uncomfortable throughout the day. Cramping, belly ache, gurgling and pain is absolutely not something you should be dealing with.

It's the way your digestive system whispers to you to let you know that something isn't right. The problem is most of us only deal with it when it's screaming. So what causes bloating? Well lots of things! It's all about finding that piece in the puzzle that causes bloating for YOU as we are all bio individuals. Some of the most common causes are:

- intolerance or allergy to foods

- high stress levels

- hormone related, particularly in women

- parasite, yeast, fungal or mould infection

- constipation

- bacterial imbalance

- digestive enzymes not working sufficiently

So let's break it down. Bloating is usually the onset of an excess amount of gas in the bowel. It's a message to you that something isn't right. It can however be reduced if you start to look at the pieces of the puzzle, listen to the signals your body is telling you and then actively do something about it.

A colonic can help reduce these symptoms and give you an insight on what it feels like to not be bloated. Ultimately it's work that needs to be done not only by the practitioner but also by the client.

If you experience bloating regularly then book a session with us so we can help you find the WHY.

Improving Your Immune System Through Colonics

March 15, 2019

If you want to boost your immune system, you should be aware of the connection between how your body fights off germs, viruses, and disease and your colon. This is because a substantial part of the colonic system is designed to help your body ward off allergies, the flu, and even cancer and diabetes. Considering that a typical colon is five feet in length as part of your digestive tract, the health of your colonic system goes hand in hand with your immune system.
